Atlas Research Welcomes Patricia C. Lewis as a Senior Fellow

Atlas Research is pleased to welcome Patricia C. Lewis as a Senior Fellow. Ms. Lewis is a senior executive with over 35 years of health care policy, strategic planning, and operational experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) Military Health System, and as a health care consultant with Deloitte, The McVey Company Incorporated, and Intellect Solutions

M. Lewis served as the deputy executive director for the TRICARE Fourth Generation Purchased Care Initiative, where she co-led a 25-person study group to evaluate options and opportunities for the design of future purchased care to ensure the best possible health care for over 9.6 military beneficiaries across 50 states from 2015 onward.

As a health care consultant, Ms. Lewis worked with Deloitte, The McVey Company Incorporated, and Intellect Solutions, where she was responsible for the identification, qualification, and capture of business opportunities that provided significant value to their Department of Defense military health clients, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and other industry health care partners.

Ms. Lewis served as the assistant surgeon general for Medical Plans and Programs, Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. In addition, she was the 17th chief of the Air Force Medical Service Corps. Ms. Lewis also served as the commander of the Air Force Medical Service Agency in the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. 

Ms. Lewis received a Master’s degree in education administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both from the University of the Philippines.
