Atlas Leadership Attends Easter Seals 2015 Advocacy Awards

May 21, 2015

Members of the Atlas Research Team, including Atlas President Mark H. Chichester and CEO Ryung Suh, attended the 2015 Advocacy Awards hosted by Easter Seals Serving DC|MD|VA on May 13th, 2015. The event honors advocates who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to advancing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities or special needs.

Atlas contributed to the record-breaking fundraising effort as a corporate sponsor, helping the event raise $810,000. Over 600 guests were in attendance and included leaders in business, government relations, and professional services as well as military and government dignitaries.

This year the awards program highlighted several Easter Seals services, including Child Development, Respite, Caregiver Training, Adult Day Services, the Veteran Staffing Network and Homeless Veterans Reintegration, all services that help military families and others with special needs integrate into their communities.

The event aligns with the Easter Seals mission to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.
