Kevin Ripp

Vice President, Strategy & Transformation

Kevin Ripp has 15+ years of experience in strategy and operations across multiple markets including health care, defense and financial services. Kevin is an expert in strategy formulation for supply chain and medical devices that partners with clients on operating model development and new organization design to drive innovation in health care delivery systems. He leads teams to develop supply chain strategies that leverage digital technology, unlock the value of enterprise health care data, and inform processes and policies for breakthrough medical devices. Kevin blends strategy formulation with expertise in project management to enable effective project execution and monitoring.

Kevin manages a portfolio of projects at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). He partners with Senior Executive Service clients at VA on high-impact engagements including Supply Chain, Modernization, and the Systems Transformation in response to the Veterans Choice Act Independent Assessments. Kevin served as the program manager for the establishment of the Equipment Life Cycle Management Program Executive Office (PEO) to establish a new operating model for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) supply chain. The operating model addresses life cycle management for high-cost high-technical equipment and clinical equipment, and includes improved processes for enterprise demand planning, national contracting, inventory management and maintenance. Kevin led a team of more than ten staff to develop the operating model and partnered with a new PEO Director to design the organization and stand-up the office. In support of Modernization and the Independent Assessments, Kevin provided project delivery leadership to Health Care Systems Transformation focused on Systemness to ensure integrated health care delivery at VHA.

Prior to joining Atlas, Kevin served as a project manager for delivery teams across client markets at Booz Allen Hamilton. He exhibited a consistent track record of managing executive client relationships and delivery for projects with over a $1M budget, within cost and schedule targets. He led organizational strategy engagements including Access to Care at VA, Online Services at the Internal Revenue Service, and Grant Program Measurement at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State. He is a certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute, holds a Supply Chain Transformation Certificate from Penn State, and holds a Change Management Advanced Practitioner Certification from Georgetown University.
