Atlas Research Welcomes Teddi Macht Mikula as a Vice President

Atlas Research is pleased to welcome Teddi Macht Mikula as a Vice President. In this role, Ms. Mikula manages a portfolio of projects supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She provides program management oversight of contractual, financial, quality assurance, and client delivery activities.

Ms. Mikula has over 20 years of experience in health care operations, program management, and project management. She began her career in health care operations within the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and subsequently worked in health care quality management, business process analysis, information technology, and community-based children’s mental health. Prior to Atlas, Ms. Mikula was a senior associate with Booz Allen Hamilton serving multiple clients in the health market with a concentration in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Her most recent client engagements include supporting the VHA Office of Informatics and Analytics (OIA) Health Systems Portfolio Management in defining a business strategy to transform VHA scheduling systems and supporting a non-profit organization in designing an evaluation framework to assess the impact of their services on participants.

During her career, Ms. Mikula managed a small business providing children’s mental health services. At the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), she led survey teams that evaluated the compliance of managed care organizations with accreditation standards and was responsible for the team’s production of accreditation survey reports. Ms. Mikula also managed two accreditation product lines. She spent six years as a federal employee in VHA serving as the department administrator for the Ambulatory Care Departments for three VA Medical Centers and completed the Health Systems Specialist Training program in hospital operations.

Ms. Mikula holds a Master’s degree in Hospital and Health Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison .
