Atlas Research Supports Winterhaven Stand Down for DC Area Homeless Veterans

January 30, 2014

For the fourth consecutive year, Atlas Research supported the Winterhaven Homeless Stand Down event at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, held on Saturday, January 25.

The full-day program offered health screenings, housing and employment counseling, dental exams, free food, and clothing to homeless and at-risk Veterans from the Metropolitan Area.

Atlas Research donated 250 new coats that were distributed to homeless Veterans who attended the event.

Winterhaven is supported by more than 70 government and community groups. It is a part of a proactive and multifaceted U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) initiative to end Veteran Homelessness.

A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Atlas Research is a proud supporter of the Winterhaven Stand Down and other events honoring Veterans and Service Members.

Atlas CEO Ryung Suh, Vice President Jeff Baetz, and Operations Manager Greg Smallwood joined other volunteers in preparing items for distribution to Veterans at the 2014 Winterhaven Stand Down in Washington, DC.
