April 4, 2014

Atlas Research has received an award to provide planning, evaluation, and analysis services for the Agency for Healthcare Research (AHRQ) and Quality of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The contract is a multiple-award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract that has a five-year ordering period and a total ceiling of $30M for all awardees.

AHRQ is the lead federal agency charged with producing evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work with HHS and other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used. Through the contract, the Atlas Team will develop analytical products to help inform programmatic, budgetary, legislative, regulatory, and strategic planning decisions.

“Our team includes Abt Associates and RAND Corporation, some of the top health research organizations in the world,” said Jamie Hart, PhD, Executive Vice President of Atlas Research. "We are pleased to work with them to support the Agency in its efforts to improve health care safety and quality and increase evidence-based decision making."
