March 5, 2018

Atlas Research has received a $9.9 million task order from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Modernization to support the Office as it integrates change initiatives across VA and focuses on Secretary Shulkin’s priorities. The Office is charged with transforming VA into a modern, high-performing organization that improves delivery to Veterans and simplifies the operations of VA.

The Atlas team will provide program management, implementation and analytical services, and health industry subject matter expertise in support of VA’s enterprise initiatives over the next two years.

“Atlas is honored to work at the center of VA’s modernization initiative,” said Atlas President and CEO Robin Portman. “We look forward to bringing our innovation and agility to the table as we address emerging challenges and opportunities for modernization.”

Atlas Executive Vice President Beth Mahan, who leads the VA portfolio for Atlas, agrees. “We seek out these types of opportunities to make a real difference in the delivery of VA services to our nation’s Veterans,” she said. “This is what gets us excited about our mission!”
