Atlas Research Awarded Contract from the Office of Population Affairs to Support the Title X Family Planning Program

October 9, 2014

Atlas Research was awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Population Affairs (OPA) to provide support and technical assistance for the Title X Family Planning Program. Title X, the only federal program dedicated solely to family planning and reproductive health, plays a critical role in providing low-income and uninsured individuals with access to high-quality family planning and related preventive health services. The period of performance for this contract will be one year, with three option years.

Atlas will assist OPA in planning and executing conferences, expert panels, workgroups and other meetings that will facilitate the exchange of best practices and information within the Title X community. Atlas will also provide technical assistance to help OPA strengthen its systems and capacity in the administration, management, and monitoring of the Title X program.

“Atlas is pleased to support OPA’s mission to ensure access to family planning and reproductive health services among those who may need them the most, but to whom they may not be readily available,” said Jamie Hart, PhD, MPH, executive vice president of Atlas Research. “This work aligns with our commitment to improve the availability of essential health services among underserved communities, as well as our extensive familiarity with the Title X mission, priorities, and stakeholders.”
