Atlas Leader John Sepulveda Advises Government Executives Through the Partnership for Public Service’s SAGE Program

May 14, 2018

Atlas Research’s John Sepulveda, a former Chief Human Capital Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs, provides strategic solutions to government executives as a member of the Partnership for Public Service’s “Strategic Advisors to Government Executives (SAGE)” program. This program connects current senior-level government executives with their predecessors and private-sector counterparts, known as SAGEs, to share insights, knowledge, ideas, and best practices to help them improve government performance.

SAGEs include a broad range of senior-level subject matter experts who want to give back to government and continue their involvement in public service. They share their experience and expertise to help federal C-suite executives accelerate their ability to carry out their required responsibilities, priorities, and initiatives, contributing to more effective and efficient government leadership.

Mr. Sepulveda also regularly provides lectures to emerging human resources leaders as part of the Partnership’s federal leadership development program.  Mr. Sepulveda recently participated with other SAGES in an invitation-only meeting with the leaders of the Office of Management and Budget, the Office of Personnel Management, and the General Services Administration to discuss the new President’s Management Agenda, which will drive much of the Administration’s management reform of federal agencies, including areas such as workforce restructuring, IT modernization, and data accountability and transparency.

“As a SAGE, I have had the honor and opportunity to leverage my more than 30 years in public service to support federal executives as they strive to make government more efficient, effective, and responsive to the American people,” said Mr. Sepulveda.
