Kristin Kano, PhD

Kristin Kano is a Principal at Atlas Research. Dr. Kano is responsible for driving innovation solutions into federal health care agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs. To help clients with their innovation strategy, she is also focused on growing Atlas’ capabilities in innovative source strategies, lifecycle management, portfolio management and governance strategies.

Dr. Kano is an experienced program manager with proven record of success in bringing together business, technical and policy experts into multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges. She has extensive experience in process evaluation and strategic planning. She helps customers gain value by providing structured framework to tie innovation strategy to operations to achieve organizational priorities.

Dr. Kano holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William and Mary and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Medicine from George Washington University.
