Vice President

James Chung is a Vice President at Atlas Research. He is responsible for leading digital services that enable continuous innovation and modernization for clients. Mr. Chung is an accomplished leader with more that 25 years of experience providing expertise in the areas of systems integration, software development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, artificial intelligence, and human-centered design. As the Digital Services lead, Mr. Chung’s focus lies in developing client relationships, creating business development strategies & thought leadership, and leading strategic investments regarding digital products and capabilities.

Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Chung worked in various practice leadership roles in federal and commercial consulting including Booz Allen Hamilton, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Accenture. During his career, Mr. Chung has acquired significant leadership and management expertise to include digital strategy, program management, risk mitigation, and financial management for complex capabilities focused on quantifying issues and defining roadmaps to gain operational efficiencies and reduce costs. His delivery expertise includes implementations ranging from large-scale enterprise-level systems implementations involving multi-tiered architectures to the deployment of modular, reusable components on microservices architectures. His industry experiences range in high-performing sectors within healthcare, energy, telecommunications, consumer products, state & local, and federal.

Mr. Chung holds a Bachelor of Art (BA) in Economics from University of Maryland, College Park. He is a certified Scrum Master, PMP, and ITIL.
