WASHINGTON, DC – Titan Alpha, a joint venture between Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) and Atlas Research, was awarded a task order with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Primary Care to support the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Modernization Initiative.
Built on the holistic principles of patient-centered care, a PACT is intended to transform the way Veterans receive care. The PACT Modernization Initiative looks to leverage an interdisciplinary approach to define a modern PACT model and reinforce preventive medicine.
To help increase Veterans’ access to primary care, Titan Alpha will assist in tracking, measuring, and evaluating the effectiveness of three proposed PACT models that aim to relieve clinicians from administrative functions. To identify and scale best practices in preventive medicine, Titan Alpha will also support in connecting clinical service lines.
“The PACT Modernization Initiative is an opportunity to advance patient-centered care throughout VHA,” said PFS President Greg Smallwood. “Establishing the right infrastructure is a crucial first step that we possess and have the technical capabilities to execute.”
“PFS and Atlas Research have direct experience in VHA primary care operations and PACT implementation,” said Atlas Research Senior Manager Margo Rubertus. “Current PACT models have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and primary care clinician shortages nationwide. We will use our experience to support the PACT Modernization Initiative to meet today’s challenges.”
This contract was awarded on the VHA Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) contract, a 10-year, $1 billion vehicle awarded to PFS and Atlas Research.
