 Teddi Mikula

Teddi Mikula is a dynamic leader with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare operations, program and project management, and business transformation. She brings deep expertise in health care quality improvement, business process improvement, information technology, community-based children's mental health, and federal healthcare consulting.

As Senior Vice President for Atlas Research, Teddi develops strategy and provides service delivery oversight for the Atlas portfolio of projects supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She leads teams providing strategic planning, continuous performance improvement, lean six sigma, change management, strategic communications, customer experience, and program management services to federal agencies.

Prior to Atlas, Teddi was a senior associate with Booz Allen Hamilton serving multiple clients in the health market with a concentration in VHA. Her client engagements included supporting the VHA Office of Informatics and Analytics (OIA) Health Systems Portfolio Management in defining a business strategy to transform VHA scheduling systems and supporting a non-profit organization in designing an evaluation framework to assess the impact of their services.

Additionally, she brings experience as a children's mental health services provider, managing the small business operations including administration, budget, contract, clinical quality improvement, and patient safety activities. At the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), she led survey teams that evaluated Managed Care Organizations' compliance with accreditation standards and was responsible for the team's production of accreditation survey reports. She served as department administrator for the Ambulatory Care Departments for three VA Medical Centers and completed the Health Systems Specialist Training program in hospital operations.

Teddi holds two masters degrees including a Master's Degree in Hospital and Health Administration and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
