Atlas Research Senior Vice President for Rural Health Research and Policy, Hilda Heady has joined the editorial Board of the Journal of Rural Social Sciences (JRSS) and will be serving as guest editor of a special issue in 2011 on rural Veterans. The JRSS has submitted a call for abstracts for the special issue on rural Veterans, which is projected to cover a wide range of topics concerning rural Veterans and their families, ranging from demographics and epidemiology to issues for women and minority Veterans, National Guard and Reservists, models of care, and case studies.
