For the fifth consecutive year, Atlas Research supported the Winterhaven Homeless Stand Down event at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DCVAMC), held on Saturday, January 24.
The full-day program offered health screenings, housing and employment counseling, dental exams, food, and clothing to homeless and at-risk Veterans from the Metropolitan Area.
Atlas Research donated 500 shirts, screen printed with the 2015 Winterhaven logo, to identify DCVAMC staff to the Veterans in attendance.
Winterhaven is supported by more than 70 government and community groups. It is a part of a proactive and multifaceted U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) initiative to end Veteran Homelessness.
