Event Spotlights Commitment to People with Special Needs

Atlas Research showed its support for our military Veterans by being a sponsor of the 2017 Easter Seals Advocacy Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 25th at the Washington Hilton. The annual event is held in honor of advocates who have shown an exemplary commitment to advancing the Easter Seals mission: to provide services and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities or special needs, including military families.

This year’s honorees included Ellyn Dunford, Family Advocate, and her spouse, General Joseph Dunford, 19th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Dan Valenzuela President, Safeway Eastern Division.

“We’re proud to sponsor the Easter Seals Advocacy Awards and pay tribute to these individuals who do so much to advance opportunities for people with disabilities or special needs,” said Atlas Research President Mark H. Chichester.

All proceeds from the event support Easter Seals critical programs throughout the Washington, DC region. Easter Seals provides services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs, and their families, have equal opportunities to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.
