Atlas Research Evaluates AHRQ Individual Career Development (K) Award Program

August 26, 2016

The Department of Health and Human Services Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) recently posted an evaluation report which summarizes the outcomes and impact of its Individual Career Development (K) Award Program, the program’s alignment with and contributions to AHRQ’s priorities and areas of interest, and recommendations for how the K Award Program can be improved for future awards.

Atlas Research worked with AHRQ to conduct a mixed-methods evaluation assessing the return on investment related to AHRQ’s support of the Mentored Research Scientist Research Career Development Award (K01), the Independent Scientist Career Development Award (K02), and the Mentored Clinical Scientist Award (K08) programs.
